Breaches:
The case began because of the arrests carried out in the early hours of the morning of 16 October 2019 in Tarragona city center. Out of the 18 arrests made, 12 ended up in legal proceedings. Nonetheless, the case ends up with 18 people under investigation and 4 arrests between January and February 2020, since some of the people under investigation refuse to appear before the judge. In the end of 2022, the dismissal of the case is upheld as regards the majority of people but for 4 that are the ones that will end up going to trial. The Prosecutor and the Government of Catalonia request sentences between 12 and 18 months in prison for the crimes of assault on the authority, injuries and damages. The State Attorney, a police union and a bank withdrew themselves from the case. One of the accused is Arnau Martí, who was recently elected CUP councilor in Tarragona City Council.
