Breaches:
El Mundo publishes a story about an alleged 12.9 million euro deposit made by Xavier Trias, CiU’s candidate for mayor of Barcelona, in the Swiss bank Union de Banques Suïsses. The story includes his supposed account number, seven months before the municipal elections. On the 31st, the bank sends a letter to Xavier Trias confirming that he does not have an account with the institution and that the number provided by El Mundo is not even in the correct format.
