The Spanish government submits an appeal of unconstitutionality against the Declaration of Sovereignty

On 7 May, the Constitutional Court agrees to hear the appeal. This is the first time since the democratic restoration that a declaration by a Parliament without legal effects has been suspended, in this case after an appeal of unconstitutionality to the Constitutional Court of the Spanish government.
