The trial of Xenia, one of the demonstrators arrested during the post-sentence protests, will take place on 18 December 2025

Breaches:

The Prosecutor’s Office accuses her of a crime of public disturbance and requests a sentence of two years in prison for her participation in the protests against the sentence of the 1 October referendum that took place on 18 October 2019. Xenia will be judged more than six years after the events. Xenia was arrested during the post-sentence protests and she has since reported physical abuse and harassment during her detention, as well as the fabrication of false evidence. She was put in preventive detention until October 31 of that year, which she claims was ordered without respecting any legal requirements.
