The UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention again calls for the release of pro-independence prisoners

Breaches:

Specifically, the organisation is now calling for the release of Joaquim Forn, Raül Romeva, Josep Rull and Dolors Bassa, who were imprisoned in the prosecution against the leaders of the 1 October referendum and who had presented their case in July 2018. As it had concluded in the case of Junqueras, Sànchez and Cuixart, the organisation argues that their imprisonment is due to their political ideas and that the Supreme Court does not have jurisdiction to try them.
