Ciudadanos files a complaint against Miquel Buch, theMinister of the Interior of the Government of Catalonia, accusing him of a crime of embezzlement of public funds and prevarication for having Lluís Escolàas a security adviser. Escolà, a Mossos agent, is accused of protecting President Carles Puigdemont in exile. He was appointed as an adviser in July 2018, but left the position at his own request in March 2019. The day after the complaint is presented, the Prosecutor’s Office begins to investigate the case.
