During one of the first protests blocking Meridiana Avenue, Marcel Guillén, an Arran activist, is arrested by the Mossos d’Esquadra for a crime of causing injury and attacking authority. The Mossos claim that Guillén prevented the arrest of a protester by lunging on top of an office, injuring his finger. The Prosecutor’s Office calls for two years in prison, while the Government of Catalonia calls for six months in prison and a 4,906 euro fine.
