Breaches:
Toni Comín and Meritxell Serret ask for the first time to appear in person at the the Supreme Court for the case involving the leaders of the 1 October referendum and call upon the recusal of judge Pablo Llarena for ‘a pending lawsuit with the parties involved,’ referring to the civil lawsuit filed in Belgium. Llarena rejects it and Comín and Serret submit an appeal for protection to the Constitutional Court, which was admitted on 18 December. Carme Forcadell had also submitted a letter of recusal against Llarena on 1 June, which was also rejected by him. After submitting several letters to Llarena personally asking for the appeal to be admitted, an appeal for protection is finally submitted (18 July) which is admitted by the Constitutional Court (6 September).
