Parliament approves the ruling on the restitution of Catalan institutions

Breaches:

The plenary session of Parliament approves the ruling on the restitution of Catalan institutions with favourable votes by JxCat, ERC and CUP MPs (not including votes by the exiled leaders). The ruling also condemns the impeachment of President Carles Puigdemont and confirms the commitment to reinstate him. Amendments presented by the CUP regarding the reaffirmation of the declaration of independence were also voted on, but were not approved. On 19 April, Ciudadanos submitted an appeal for protection to the Constitutional Court against the accepting the amendments proposed by the CUP. On 11 November 2019, the Constitutional Court sides with Ciudadanos and cancels acceptance of the amendment.
