The Constitutional Court dismisses the Spanish government’s appeal against amending Parliamentary Regulations

Breaches:

The Constitutional Court rules that the modification of the Parliamentary Regulation enabling legislative proposals to be processed through one single reading at the request of only two groups is constitutional. This resolution comes after the State Attorney filed an appeal on 28 July 2017.  Nonetheless, the Constitutional Court had suspended this proceeding on single reading on 31 July, that it was thought to pass on 6 and 7 September the Laws on Referendum and on the Legal Transition prior to the 1 October referendum and the Constitutional Court delivers a judgment on the appeal and declares its non-unconstitutionality posthumously.
