Breaches:
The Provincial Electoral Board of Barcelona does not authorise the rallies in favour of the political prisoners and exiles called for 1 and 8 February, which coincide with the 14 February electoral campaign. They do so on the grounds that the rallies may ‘indirectly sway the electoral campaign.’ The ruling was issued following the Department of the Interior’s consultation with regard to the rallies that have been scheduled for the days in question. However, these rallies have been taking place every Monday throughout various municipalities in Catalonia for more than three years.
