The Prosecutor’s Office submits a request to the National High Court to investigate the CUP-Capgirem Vic minister Joan Coma for an alleged crime of incitement to sedition for his statements in favour of disobedience. In particular, the judge focused on the expression ‘to make the omelette, you have to break the eggs’ that Coma used in a municipal meeting. Coma’s statements were made during the vote on a motion in support of the declaration of dissolution of the Parliament of Catalonia. Three days later, the National High Court accepts the request and summons the accused to testify.
