The Spanish government takes the government of Catalonia budget to the Constitutional Court

Breaches:

The executive submits an appeal of unconstitutionality against the additional provision in the government of Catalonia’s budget that provides for holding the referendum and the line items intended for electoral processes. On 4 April, the Constitutional Court agrees to hear the appeal, and therefore the articles appealed by the Spanish government are suspended. The PP, Ciudadanos and PSOE announce that they will also appeal them.
