Three protesters face three years each in prison for the demonstration in support of Puigdemont’s investiture

Breaches:

The Prosecutor’s Office is calling for three years in prison for Josep Rosas Creu and two other demonstrators who were arrested on 30 January 2018 during the protests over the failed investiture of Carles Puigdemont. They are accused of having broken the chain on the gate to the Parc de la Ciutadella, attacking law enforcement officers and assaulting a Mossos d’Esquadra agent. The Government of Catalonia, which was a prosecuting party in the case, withdraws just one day before the trial begins at the Provincial Court of Barcelona.
