Breaches:
The Fifth Examining Magistrate’s Court of Vilanova i la Geltrú completes the investigation against Toni Albà and sends him to trial for a possible crime of slander for campaigning against the State Security Forces and Corps (Civil Guard and the National Police), the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Justice System and specifically, National High Court Magistrate Carmen Lamela, in messages posted on Twitter between October 2017 and February 2018. The Court considers the publications not to be covered under freedom of expression, and in November 2018, the Prosecutor’s Office fined the actor 19,200 euros. In October 2019, the trial is held at the Second Criminal Court of Vilanova i la Geltrú with the judgement to follow.
