Two CUP town councillors are arrested for not appearing in court to give evidence for cutting off the Coll d’Ares road during the 8 November strike

CUP town councillors for Ripoll and Campdevànol, Santi Llagostera and Mariona Baraldés, remained outside the First Examining Magistrate’s Court of Ripoll as a sign of protest when elected ERCcouncillors Roger Bosch, Carme Freixa and Núria Pérez adhered to their right to remain silent. The Court summoned them again to testify on 8 May, but they did not appear in court. The two CUP councillors under investigation for an alleged crime of public disturbance for participating in cutting off the Coll d’Ares road during the 8 November general strike adhered to their right to remain silent and have been released by the court.
