Breaches:
The Taula per la Democràcia (an organisation made up of unions such as UGT and CCOO, employers such as PIMEC and CECOT and organisations such as the ANC and Òmnium, among others) promotes a general strike to protest the violence of the Spanish police on 1 October. There are constant mobilisations throughout the day. According to the City Police, 700,000 people demonstrated in Barcelona, 60,000 in Girona, 45,000 in Lleida and 35,000 in Tarragona.
