Breaches:

The judge of the Fourth Examining Magistrate’s Court of Reus orders the arrest of the CUP city councilor of Reus and spokesman of its National Secretariat Edgar Fernández after he did not appear to testify on repeated occasions in one of the four cases pending before the courts of Reus. He is being investigated for crimes of disobedience and public disturbance, among others. Edgar Fernández is one of the 30 pro-independence activists investigated in a total of five cases for the protests against the sentence of the 1 October referendum and in support of the arrested in the context of Operation Judas in autumn 2019. He is being investigated, firstly, for participating in the cutting of the train tracks on 23 September 2019 in support of the suspects arrested in Operation Judas, and, secondly, for the post-sentence protests, during which, on 14 October 2019, a confrontation took place with Mossos d’Esquadra agents and some VOX militants.
