Five elected officials from Ripollès accused of crimes of public disturbance for cutting off the Coll d’Ares road during the 8 November strike

Breaches:

The five elected officials are being investigated for an alleged crime of public disturbance for participating in cutting off the Coll d’Ares road during the 8 November general strike in protest against the application of Article 155 and the imprisonment of pro-independence leaders. On 26 April, they are summoned to testify before the First Examining Magistrate’s Court of Ripoll. ERC town councillor for Ripoll, Roger Bosch, and the mayors of Vallfogona de Ripollès and Pardines, Carme Freixa and Núria Pérez, adhere to their right not to declare, while the CUP town councillors for Ripoll and Campdevànol, Santi Llagostera and Mariona Baraldés, remain outside the court in protest. The Court again summons the two CUP councillors to testify on 8 May, but they do not turn up to court.
