Montserrat Mindan is under investigation for an alleged crime of disobedience for having signed a decree in support of the 1 October referendum l. The court hears how the mayor supported the decree five days before she received the notification from the Constitutional Court warning about the obligation to prevent any initiative related to the referendum. The Public Prosecutor’s Office appeals the filing of the case before the Girona Court, but it orders that the case be reopened.
