General elections called again

Breaches:

After the failed investiture of Pedro Sánchez (PSOE) as president of the Spanish government in July, the Spanish legislature is dissolved and new general elections are called for 10 November. The PP, Ciudadanos, VOX and JxCat, among others, had voted against the investiture, while Podemos, ERC, the PNV, Euskal Herria Bildu and Compromís had abstained. A new electoral period begins, and JxCat and ERC again field as candidates most of the remand prisoners prosecuted for the 1 October referendum: ERC again presents Oriol Junqueras and Raül Romeva as heads of the Congress and Senate lists, respectively, while JxCat again presents Jordi Sànchez, Jordi Turull and Josep Rull as the heads of its lists of candidates for Congress in Barcelona, Lleida and Tarragona, respectively, and adds Quim Forn as head of the Girona list. Joan Josep Nuet, a former member of the Bureau of the Parliamentprosecuted by the High Court of Justice of Catalonia, is again fourth on ERC’s list of candidates for Congress in Barcelona.
