Breaches:
Josant Valverde, a resident of Vilanova i la Geltrú who protested in front of Parliament on 30 January 2018 in support of Carles Puigdemont’s investiture, is arrested by the Mossos d’Esquadra for the crimes of public disturbance, violence against authority and attempted theft. His lawyer, Sandra Soler, reports that he was not identified on the day of the protests but rather later, through image tracking that locates him at the protests in front of Parliament. Valverde was identified during the protests called by the CDRs against the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Spanish governmet at the Llotja de Mar in Barcelona, on 21 December 2018, that is, after the events of 30 January, and he was released on charges the following day. His case has been transferred to the Eighth Examining Magistrate’s Court of Barcelona, which is the court investigating the unrest on 30 January 2018 in front of Parliament.
