The plenary session is resumed in parliament for the investiture of Jordi Turull as president of the Government of Catalania, imprisoned the previous day by the Supreme Court examining magistrate for the 1 October referendum case, Pablo Llarena. Roger Torrent gives the parties a turn to speak, then suspends the debate in Parliament and the second vote for the investiture is not carried out. The PP does not intervene because it leaves the chamber.
