Judge rules prison without bail for Jordi Turull, Josep Rull, Dolors Bassa, Raül Romeva and Carme Forcadell, as requested by the Prosecutor’s Office, the State’s Attorney Office and the public prosecution. On the same day, Bassa and Forcadell are admitted to Alcalá-Meco prison and Turull, Rull and Romeva are admitted to Estremera prison. All five submit appeals against their imprisonment. Marta Rovira does not appear at the summons before the Supreme Court and announces that she is going into exile. Llarena reactivates the European Arrest Warrants against the govenment members in exile (Carles Puigdemont, Antoni Comín, Clara Ponsatí, Lluís Puig and Meritxell Serret) and issues an International Arrest Warrant against Rovira, who is in Switzerland. The ANC, Òmnium and the CDRs call a demonstration outside the Spanish government delegation in Catalonia and the Town Halls of all Catalan towns to campaign against the examining magistrate’s decision, causing friction among the Mossos d’Esquadra and the hundreds of demonstrators blocking several streets in the centre of Barcelona.
