Parliament calls for an investigation into the monarchy

Breaches:

The Parliament of Catalonia votes to create a commission to investigate the monarchy, specifically the criminal or irregular activities of individuals linked to the Spanish royal family, including those aimed at coercing banks, large companies and multinational corporations to move their registered offices out of Catalonia following the 1 October referendum. The motion is a joint proposal by JxCat, ERC, En Comú-Podem and the CUP. The rest of the parties vote against it. The Parliament’s decision is challenged by the Spanish government, which presents an appeal on the basis of unconstitutionalitybefore the Constitutional Court. The Court accepts the appeal for examination on 16 March, thus suspending the creation of the commission.
