Proceedings continue in the complaint presented by the municipal governments of Girona, Aiguaviva and Sant Julià de Ramis over the police charges during the 1 October referendum

Breaches:

The Provincial Court of Girona confirms that the Government of Catalonia will bring a private prosecution in the proceedings taking place before the Second Examining Magistrate’s Court of Girona. In October, the Spanish national police officers who participated in the violence begin to testify as defendants facing charges for injuries and torture. Their testimony includes claims that the voters were carrying bladed weapons, had hateful looks, threw liquid at them and threatened to set bombs in their cars.
