Breaches:
The Second Examining Magistrate’s Court in Sabadell opens preliminary proceedings against Sabadell city mayor, Maties Serracant, for an alleged crime of disobedience, for having allocated municipal spaces to hold the 1 October referendum, following a complaint filed by a resident from Múrcia. On 18 September 2017, the Prosecutor’s Office had already summoned him to testify as the alleged author of a crime of disobedience and/or prevarication, in connection with preparations for the referendum.
