Breaches:
The Second Examining Magistrate’s Court of Manresa, where the investigations into the 1 October referendum in Bages county are concentrated, shelves the case of the Civil Guard charges in the town of Castellgalí. This decision is appealed and confirmed by higher courts. In the following months, the court will also dismiss the rest of the cases brought against police actions in Bages (in Fonollosa, in Callús and at the Quercus and Joncadella schools in Sant Joan de Vilatorrada). These decisions, in turn, are also appealed, and the Provincial Court of Barcelona orders the reopening of the Fonollosa and Sant Joan de Vilatorrada cases, which return to the examining magistrate’s court, but upholds the dismissal of the Callús case.
