Some 51 protesters under investigation for public disturbance for having participated in the A2 motorway closures appear in the Igualada court

Breaches:

Some 51 Anoi residents are under investigation and appear before the First Examining Magistrate’s Court of Igualada for the alleged crime of public disturbance for participating in the closures of the A2 motorway in Ódena, during the 8 November general strike to protest against the application of Article 155 and the imprisonment of pro-independence leaders. The case is opened following a report from the Mossos d’Esquadra. The majority adhere to their right to remain silent, arguing that the reasons for which they are accused are protected by the right to strike. On 8 March the First District Court of Igualada dismissed the case after taking statements from all those under investigation.
