The case against the former coordinator of the ANC of Tàrrega for an alleged electoral crime is filed

Breaches:

The Second Examining Magistrate’s Court of Cervera agrees to provisionally dismiss the proceedings against the former coordinator of the ANC in Tàrrega, Salvador Bori. The Prosecutor’s Office had accused him of an alleged electoral crime for organising an event in support of Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Cuixart. The judge argues that there is insufficient evidence that a crime has been committed given that when the Central Electoral Board banned the event, the CUP, ERC and JxCat called an electoral event for the same day. On 2 August, the Prosecutor’s Office submitted an appeal to the Provincial High Court of Lleida.
