The full Constitutional Court unanimously endorses the decision of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of 14 May, 2019, not to suspend the trial of the political prisoners who had been elected deputies and senators in the general elections (Junqueras, Romeva, Sànchez, Turull and Rull), as they had requested through applications for protection, and also considers that it is not necessary to request the lifting of their immunity to continue with the procedure.
