Breaches:
The Constitutional Court had yet to rule on Law 4/2010 on consultations of the people by referendum since 2010. It issues this ruling the day after the government of Catalonia announces that it will purchase ballot boxes based on this law. In addition to nullifying the Law on Consultations, on the same day, the Constitutional Court also nullifies the decree creating the Commissioner for the National Transition of Catalonia.
