The Court of Auditors starts an investigation into the government of Catalonia’s expenses for organising the 9 November consultation

Breaches:



Societat Civil Catalana and Abogados Catalanes por la Constitución submit a complaint to the Court of Auditors against Artur Mas, Joana Ortega, Irene Rigau and Francesc Homs for paying the expenses of organising the 9 November consultation with public funds, which amounts to 5,129,833 euros. The following day, the Court of Auditors begins the procedure to determine whether an investigation would be appropriate and transfers it to the government of Catalonia and the Prosecutor’s Office.
