The Court of Auditors claims the interest derived from the expenses of 9 November consultation

Breaches:

Although the Caixa de Solidaritat had already provided to the Court of Auditors the total sum of the sentence for the organisation of 9 November consultation, the court now also claims the interest derived from said event, which it calculates to add up to more than one million euros, and threatens to auction off the properties of Artur Mas, Francesc Homs, Joana Ortega, Irene Rigau and the former high official of the Catalan Government Jordi Vilajoana, which it has been holding under preventive embargo since 2017. On 22 July, the Caixa de Solidaritat announces that it has also provided the sum of the interest in order to release the embargoes and that the properties of Mas, Homs and Vilajoana could be used, if necessary, as collateral in the procedure of the Court of Auditors for the expenses of the Catalan Government’s foreign affairs policies between 2011 and 2017.
