The Court of Auditors rules its judgement for the accounting trial in the organisation of 9 November consultation

Breaches:

It calculates 4,946 million euros in damage caused to Catalan government funds and distributes this amount between those responsible – Irene Rigau, Joana Ortega, Francesc Homs and five senior officials in the Catalan Government, naming Artur Mas as severally responsible for the total amount and ultimately responsible for the 9 November referendum. The sentence was dictated by auditor Margarita Mariscal de Gante Mirón, former minister of justice in the PP government (1996-2000). Those sanctioned appeal against the sentence to the Chamber of Justice of the Court of Auditors.
