The Provincial Court of Barcelona has rejected the petition of the Prosecutor’s Office to dismiss the case opened at the Seventh Examining Magistrate’s Court of Barcelona investigating the raidscarried out by the National Police in the polling stations in Barcelona during the 1 October referendum. The Court considers that the dismissal is ‘inappropriate and premature’ and thus confirms the decision of the Seventh Examining Magistrate’s Court of Barcelona to pursue the investigation.
