The National High Court dismisses the case against members of the CUP for a tribute to Julià Babia

The National High Court dismisses the case against former CUP MPAlbert Botran, Poble Lliure spokesperson Guillem Fuster, and Poble Lliure activists Marcel·lí Canet, Marcel Casellas, Toni Casserres, Josep Maria Cervelló and Ferran Dalmau. The Prosecutor’s Office had accused them of glorification of terrorism following a tribute to Julià Babia, a pro-independence activist from the Moviment de Defensa de la Terra. The event was held on the 30th anniversary of his death in a traffic accident in Castelló de Farfanya, Noguera county.
