The Supreme Court dismisses the Catalan Media Corporation’s appeal against the Central Electoral Board’s decisions calling for it to be sanctioned for broadcasting mass pro-independence events

The Supreme Court dismisses the appeal filed by the Catalan Media Corporation (CCMA) against the Central Electoral Board’s decisions urging the Provincial Electoral Board of Barcelona to initiate disciplinary action against the CCMA for violating information neutrality during the election period. These decisions came as a result of two commentaries by Mònica Terribas during November and the coverage of the Concert for Freedom on 2 December and the ‘Fill the Streets of Brussels’ demonstration on 7 December. The high court confirms that the content in question was partisan.
