The Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court dismisses Parliament’s appeal against the decision of the Central Electoral Board based on the conviction for disobedience, which was not yet final, of the High Court of Justice of Catalonia for not having removed the banner with the yellow ribbon from the Palau de la Generalitat during the general election campaign. On 20 July, it also dismisses the appeal presented by President Torra himself against the same decision.
