The High Court of Justice of Catalonia dismisses the appeal filed by the Prosecutor’s Office against the judgment of the Provincial Court that acquitted the activist and upholds the acquittal of the 12 CDR members that were tried for public disorders, disobedience and resistance. They were prosecuted for chaining themselves to the stairs of the Palau de Justícia, on 23 February 2018, to protest against article 155 and demand the release of political prisoners. Following the Provincial Court’s ruling, the High Court of Justice of Catalunya dismisses that the demonstrators committed the crime of public disorders.
