The Supreme Court endorses the Central Electoral Board’s decision to remove the MEP seat from Junqueras

Breaches:

The Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court dismisses the appeal that Oriol Junqueras had submitted against the decision of the Central Electoral Board of 3 January 2020 to remove his seat in the European Parliament in execution of the sentence of the prosecution of the leaders of the 1 October referendum. The Central Electoral Board had taken this decision at the behest of PP, VOX and Ciudadanos after the Court of Justice of the European Union established that he was an MEP since the proclamation of the results of the European elections in May 2019.
