Breaches:
The Supreme Court opens proceedings against the former Minister of Agriculture of the Government of Catalonia and member of ERC Meritxell Serret for charges of serious disobedience in the framework of the case against the leaders of the 1 October, but dismisses the alleged crime of embezzlement. The Criminal Chamber, chaired by Manuel Marchena, sends the case to the High Court of Justice of Catalonia, due to the parliamentary privilege granted her for being a member of the Parliament of Catalonia. On 12 September, the Prosecutor’s Office will ask a sentence of 1 year of disqualification and a fine of 8 months.
