Breaches:
On 4 April, in the TV3’s show Està Passant, actress Judit Martin appeared dressed as and made fun of the “Virgen del Rocío”. Martín imitated an Andalusian accent and made jokes about sex and the catholic faith. The Fundación Española de Abogados Cristianos sues Martín and the presenters of the program Toni Soler and Jair Domínguez and the criminal lawsuit is admitted. The criminal proceedings will begin in relation of a crime of offence against religious feelings but, the investigating judge will also call them to appear before him on 27 October for a crime of slander. Amnesty International tweets that the sketch should be protected under the right to freedom of expression and that countries should repeal crimes of blasphemy.
