Brian Bartés is acquitted for his participation in the protests against the Council of Ministers held in Barcelona in 2018

The Provincial Court of Barcelona acquits Brian Bartés of the crimes of public disturbance, attacking the authority and causing injuries for his participation in the protests against the celebration of the Council of Ministers in Barcelona on 31 December 2018. The Prosecutor’s Office requested 6 and a half years in prison. Brian Bartés had been accused of assaulting an officer, and was arrested for this reason after participating in the Camp Nou protest called for by Tsunami Democràtic in December 2019. He was sentenced to a year and a half in prison for these events.
