Complaint dismissed against Mossos d’Esquadra agents for torture and injuries to a demonstrator during protests against the imprisonment of Pablo Hasél

Breaches:

An arrested demonstrator, in February 2021, during the protests against the imprisonment of Pablo Hasél in Vic had reported five ARRO members of the Mossos d’Esquadra for the crimes of tortures and injuries. The demonstrator alleged that the agents took her by the lapel of her jacket and her belt and when she was on the floor she was kicked in the face and other parts of her body. In addition, the claimant alleged that one of the agents stated: ‘do we kick her, or what?’ and then he hit her in her lower back with a baton. She further reported other vexations, such as when she was in the police car she felt the penis of one of the agents in her hands and they make her kneel. Vic Investigating Court number 6 dismisses the case, and considers that the medical reports did not report the reported injuries and that it was impossible to kneel in the police car. The court also underscores the statement of the agents as coherent and credible.
