Lleida Electoral Board orders to withdraw a banner in support of prisoners and exiles from Lleida City Council

Breaches:

Lleida Area Electoral Board gives a deadline of 24 hours to the City Council for them to withdraw the banner in support to the prisoners and exiles that hangs from the façade and the yellow ribbon, due to the 28 May municipal elections. The resolution is issued after Ángeles Ribes (from Valents party and former member of Ciutadans) and former that runs for mayor reported it. Ribes also reported Juvillà, that ended up being sentenced for a crime of disobedience and the Central Electoral Board withdrew his MP seat at the Parliament of Catalonia, and the decision was later upheld by the Supreme Court. In fact, Ribes warns Miquel Pueyo (ERC), the mayor, that if he does not withdraw the symbols he risks to be committing a crime of disobedience.
