Breaches:
At the defence team’s request, the judge of the Examining Magistrate’s Court No. 24, the court conducting the preliminary investigation in Tamara Carrasco’s case, agrees to lift the ban on her leaving her municipality, considering it ‘disproportionate’. The ban has lasted more than a year. The defence is calling for the case to be thrown out, but the Prosecutor’s Office seeks a seven-month prison sentence for a crime of incitement to cause disturbance, and so the case will ultimately go to trial.
