La Directa digital newspaper explains how the Spanish Police agent Maria I. T. arrived to Girona in 2020 and went undercover in social movements, making believe she was an activist. Maria would have enrolled in Girona University with fake documents provided by the Ministry of Interior. During these three years, he had a relationship with Oscar, currently accused in the case of the Girona AVE blockade in 2018, known as ’21 Raons’. Òscar and Maria lived together and he is in shock since he discovered that the person he defines as “the love of his life” was a police agent. In addition to having gone undercover in social movements, the police officer would have also attended meetings to prepare Oscar’s defence. Maria temporarily left Girona in June 2022, met Oscar again in October and from then on the infiltration is only digital and via phone. Oscar considers it to be ‘torture’ and that they have ‘destroyed’ him and his family.
