Llarena seeks the extradition of Comín, Ponsatí and Puig

Breaches:

Pablo Llarena, the investigating judge in the case against the leaders of the 1 October referendum, issues new European Arrest Warrants against former ministers Antoni Comín and Lluís Puig, living in Belgium, and Clara Ponsatí, living in Scotland. The warrant against Comín is for sedition and embezzlement, while the warrant against Puig is for embezzlement and the one against Ponsatí, for sedition. Unlike in 2018, Llarena does not issue a European Arrest Warrant against former minister Meritxell Serret, also living in Brussels, nor an international arrest warrant against Marta Rovira or Anna Gabriel, who live in Switzerland. Comín, as Carles Puigdemont had done, files an appeal before Llarena against the European Arrest Warrant, arguing that it violates his immunity as a member of European Parliament.
