Marcel Vivet appears before the Provincial Court of Barcelona for his participation in the ’Holi Festival’

Breaches:

The pro-independence youth from Badalona Marcel Vivet, accused for his participation in the ‘Holi Festival’ protest in September 2018, appears before the Provincial Court of Barcelona. The Catalan Government, which initially agreed with the narrative and accusations of public disturbance and attacking authority (with requests for 4 years and 9 months in prison) requested by the Prosecutor’s Office, proposes to discard the accusations of public disturbance and attacking the authority if Vivet admits to committing a crime of causing injury (which would reduce the penalty request to one year). Vivet does not accept the proposed agreement because he denies having assaulted an officer during the police charges, as the accusation maintains.
